Why we built our own hosting

For years we have been building and maintaining online stores. Along the way we sent thousands of support tickets to all kinds of hosting companies and far too often got canned replies, limits and “resource usage exceeded” back. So we built the platform for stores that we wanted to have ourselves.

Our main rule: never cut corners on what sales depend on. No budget shortcuts, no second-hand servers or drives, no narrow network links.

What this means for your store

  • Panel and backups included. Free CloudPanel in Hyper plans and two backup layers: file-level and a full server image.
  • It simply works. The server is tuned for OpenCart and WordPress from day one, so you rarely need to contact support. For us that is the main measure of quality.
  • Resources when you need them. Cores for Black Friday, memory and disk for a growing catalog: added the same day, without moving to a bigger plan.
  • Protection instead of suspension. We filter parasitic bots at the server level instead of switching your store off for going over limits.

Why we cost more than mass-market hosting

Turbohost costs more because the price already covers everything cheap hosting charges extra for, in money or in nerves: the panel, backups, store tuning and real people who add resources the same day.

Cheap hosting gets you there too. The question is whether it gets you through Black Friday, when your store has ten times the usual shoppers.
